Jasleen Aulakh Kalsi

Michigan Marriage and Family Therapist

Jasleen is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Michigan and Washington State. She has a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with their authentic selves. With a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University, and a background in Special Education, her transition from teaching to therapy was inspired by the toll that global events, like COVID, had on her students and their families. As an immigrant, woman of color, and member of the Sikh community, Jasleen brings a trauma-informed, systemic perspective to her work, recognizing the deep connections between individuals and their environments. She is especially committed to serving marginalized communities, offering a culturally sensitive space where clients feel understood, heard, and empowered to heal and grow.

Blending Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, Jasleen’s approach is collaborative and strength-based, focusing on helping clients uncover their resilience and tap into practical tools for lasting change. She believes in fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where all identities are celebrated and where clients are seen as the experts of their own lives. Outside of therapy, Jasleen enjoys hiking, running around with her dog, and exploring the outdoors—always missing the mountains of her Pacific Northwest home while learning everything she can about her new life in Michigan.
